Stefanie and Michael met in New York in the late 90s when both were at the beginning of their careers. They became friends and stayed close despite living on different continents. 

 

They continued critiquing and supporting each other’s work and frequently discussed the possibility of a design collaboration, and now in 2019, it’s finally happening.

 

The design studio MUCNYC combines their resources: their knowledge, insight and experience. They will bring creative power and international and intercultural education to every design project.

 

They sometimes work in Munich, sometimes in New York. NYCMUC strives to create honest, responsible and compelling design solutions for products, systems and experiences.
