Herman Miller introduced the Resolve office furniture system in 1999 as an innovative, low-cost alternative and low-cost office system to the standard office cubicle.

Stefanie Kubanek moved to New York in 1997 to join Ayse Birsel's studio to work with Ayse on developing Resolve from scratch. Requiring a complete rethink of the office environment, Resolve is based on 120 angles that form open, inviting workstations that engender a feeling of connection and community.

Resolve utilizes vertical poles, in conjunction with horizontal support arms, to define individual workspaces and provide a structural foundation.
These poles also support hang-on components such
as screens, storage and accessories.

Accessories such as shelves, work tools and signage support the needs of the individual and help each worker to be more comfortable and, as a result, more efficient.
